I recently purchased a Sig P245. It came with two flush fit magazines and two extended magazines (P220 magazines with a spacer floor plate). It is a used gun, of course, but appears to be a very low round count gun. The exterior of the barrel is barely worn, and the frame rails look almost same as new.
I have a Sig P245. I am looking for new grips and a light. I know the P245 has been discontinued but does anyone know of any websites were I might be able to find accessories?
My 245 was the first firearm I purchased. My stepfather carried one with a state law enforcement agency, and even when I was younger when he would clean it, I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I have smaller hands than most people, so the grips fit me fine, although the only complaints I read when buying it were about the short grips. Accurate? For sure! Concealable? Like nothing else out there in .45! Reliable? After my initial cleaning and lube, not one problem since (I had one misfeed with just the light coat of factory lube). Affordable? Eehhhhh.... but it IS a Sig. Well suited for those with smaller hands, or as a back up for primary weapons. Minimal recoil allows women and even your aunt Ida to shoot it with no problem. Ok, so maybe not Ida, but you get the picture. Excellent weapon, was my favorite, still is. I am buying more, possibly HK and a Glock someday, but because Im a collector, not because of Sigs quality. If I had the money, Id buy every one. Every Sig there is. But for now, the 245 is my dream come true.
